Today, we pause to remember the 2,977 lives lost 25 years ago. Among those were 343 firefighters, 72 law enforcement officers, and 8 paramedics. May their sacrifice never be forgotten.
The Board of Mayor and Aldermen will hold their regular board meeting at Town Hall on Thursday, September 17, 2026 at 7pm. The public is encouraged to attend.
Crews will be on Chickasaw Ridge this evening beginning around 8PM. They will be repainting lines. For the safety of our personnel, please be mindful if you're driving down the road. And, as always, we appreciate your patience.

Oakland Town Hall Offices will be closed Monday, September 7th in observance of Labor Day. Trash collection will be delayed 1 day for the week.
The Board of Mayor and Aldermen will hold a work session at Town Hall on September 2nd at 6pm. The public is encouraged to attend.
